Author and former The A.V Club and The Dissolve staff writer Nathan Rabin (that’s me!) and co-host Clint Worthington (of Alcohollywood) bring the cult pop culture website Nathan Rabin’s Happy Place to the world of podcasts with Nathan Rabin’s Happy Cast, an audio wonderland for special snowflakes where we discuss bad movies, bad people (such as Donald Trump), new movies (lotta overlap with ‘bad movies’ on that one) and the happy places in pop culture and life that make all of the hassle worth it. Make our Happy Cast your Happy Place as we lovingly massage your eardrums all up in cyber space.

About your Hosts
Nathan Rabin coined the phrase Manic Pixie Dream Girl, co-wrote the coffee table book of his childhood hero “Weird Al” Yankovic and has written for the A.V Club longer than anyone else, with a career stretching back two decades. He’s also written five books: The Big Rewind, My Year Of Flops, Weird Al: The Book, You Don’t Know Me But You Don’t Like Me, and 7 Days In Ohio: Trump, the Gathering of the Juggalos and the Summer Everything Went Insane, which was just released in a hugely expanded version.
Clint is the co-host, producer, and editor of Nathan Rabin's Happy Cast, as well as a Senior Writer for Film and TV at Consequence of Sound, and the editor-in-chief for the film website Alcohollywood. He lives in Chicago with his wife, his cat, and far too many Criterion Blu-rays.
